Pop Corn with Mobile Phones - Video

Are mobile phones really harmful? If it can pop corns, will it pop your brains too? See for yourself.

Mobile phone radiation and health concerns have been raised, especially following the enormous increase in the use of wireless mobile telephony throughout the world (as of August 2005, there were more than 2 billion users worldwide). Mobile phones use electromagnetic radiation in the microwave range, and some feel this may be harmful to human health. These concerns have induced a large body of research (both epidemiological and experimental, in non-human animals as well as in humans). Concerns about effects on health have also been raised regarding other digital wireless systems, such as data communication networks.

Video is in FLV format.

Conceptual phones from NEC

From the author and creator of the computer stuffed beaver, another very sinister, and in our view, less successful creations - laser Bluetooth-klaviatura, projected returns from opossuma stuffed animals. All of this design is called Text-O-Possum and author (Recall that this is a girl!) Suggests that such opossuma is easy to carry with you and to bring the case of bags, seat at the table and used for writing e-mail'a phone or PDA with Bluetooth. Indeed, it QWERTY-klaviaturoy Full speed it will be almost as fast as the computer. But that may talk constantly carry around a stuffed animal - dubious pleasure, the same compact device that can also be described as difficult. The beauty and aesthetics, and is silent ... even better picture further.

Vodafone wants a 3G iPhone

Vodafone Group CEO Arun Sarin is reported to be concerned that the current iPhone does not operate on 3G networks.

Sarin said “It is clearly a good, software driven device, but we’re concerned about wideband area coverage so that 3G or HSDPA connectivity with the iPhone is something we look forward to”.

This could be the reason that Vodafone have cooled interest in the iPhone recently, with O2 now reported to be the favourite to take the exclusive iPhone contract in the UK.

The iPhone currently offers connectivity via WiFi and EDGE.
